About Employee Resource Groups

Purpose

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), also known as Employee Networks, are voluntary, employee-led groups that promote employee engagement workplace.

The groups exist to provide support and help in personal or career development and to promote employee engagement in the workplace. Employee Resource Groups are open to all employees.

Guiding Principles

  • Promote employee engagement
  • Create a safe place for employees with common interests to support one another's personal and professional goals
  • Extend an open invitation to all employees
  • Encourage voluntary participation
  • Adhere to UTA's policies and procedures
  • Abide by the Employee Groups Policy
