Other Related Deadlines for Tenure and Promotion Faculty
Candidates going up for Tenure/Promotion or Promotion to Full Professor in AY 2025-2026 must notify their department chair or program director of their intention before March 7th, 2025. Failure to notify the department chair by the deadline will result in delayed consideration until the following year.
Chairs send the names of the faculty coming up for Tenure and Promotion and Promotion to Full to their Dean’s office by March 17th, 2025.
Deans send the name (Dept, UTA ID, and Email) to the Division of Faculty Success by March 24th, 2025 (facultysuccess@uta.edu).
Candidates going up for Tenure/Promotion or Promotion to Full Professor in AY 2025-2026 must submit their External Review list to the Department/Program chair April 22nd, 2025.
