IRB Mini Conference Spring 2025

If you conduct human subject research or would like to learn more about the IRB process, please join us for the IRB Mini-Conference in virtual format on March 28, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Topics will include human subject research, informed consent, recruitment of subjects, submissions to the IRB, and protecting human subject electronic data.

Peer Observation Training with Certificate

Join us on April 2, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, in Trinity Hall 105 or via Teams for peer observation training as you work towards the certificate for formal peer observation. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.

Interdisciplinary Research Program

Applications for the 2025 Interdisciplinary Research Program (IRP) open March 18. Offering up to $20,000 per project, this UTA award aims to harnesses researchers' creativity through interdisciplinary collaborations. Submissions are due by April 16.  Review the 2024 IRP recipients for inspirations.

Texas Academic Leadership Academy

We are now accepting nominations for the Texas Academic Leadership Academy (TALA). Beginning in June, this one-year program develops leadership skills and capacity in aspiring academic leaders. This program serves faculty members in both tenure-stream and academic professional tracks, and the Division of Faculty Success will sponsor your participation. Interested?
