To-Do Checklist:
- Verify your graduation eligibility/honors with your academic advisor. (Honors applies only to Undergrad.)
- Apply to graduate by Monday, March 3, 2025 and pay the graduation fee.
- Late Application for Graduation: After March 3 deadline, you can still apply to graduate, but there is an additional fee. Contact your academic advisor to begin the process.
- MyMAV: RSVP for the Commencement if you plan to walk in the graduation ceremony. (Applying for graduation and RSVPing for Commencement are not the same.)
- Tassel - Formerly Known as "Marching Order": You will receive an invitation to sign up for Tassel. This is where you will request a guest ticket, submit your ADA accommodation request, and create your graduate profile. Tassel is open from Wednesday, March 5 to Monday, April 7, 2025.
- Apply for Maverick Advantage: Friday, April 18
- Regalia: Grad Finale at the UTA Bookstore – purchase regalia (discounted pricing), rings, diploma frames, and order invitations. Social Work tassel color is Citron by Friday, March 21, 2025.
- Guest Ticket Release: Thursday, May 1, 2025. Tickets available to claim through MLB Ballpark app.
- GradPass is sent through Tassel formerly known as "MarchOrder". You must print your pass and bring it with you to your ceremony. Access and print your grad pass from Tassel: Wednesday, May 7th. Bring your printed grad pass to your ceremony: Friday, May 9th.
- Enter the Grad Cap Contest: Tuesday, April 1 – Friday, April 25 Graduating Mavericks can submit their grad cap designs during the entry period via email. Learn about the Grad Cap Contest. Send a picture of your decorated cap to socialmedia@uta.edu. Vote in the Grad Cap Contest: Monday, April 28 - Saturday, May 3, 2025.
- Complete First Destination Survey: February 21 - Saturday, October 4.
