Bachelor of Social Work Transfers

Transfer credits for undergraduate-level social work courses may, at the discretion of the Director of Undergraduate Programs, be accepted by the School of Social Work from comparable coursework taken and passed with a grade of ‘C’ or better. UTA transcript evaluators will allocate transfer credit, and the Director of Undergraduate Programs may approve additional transfer courses for credit in collaboration with the academic advisor. Students will be expected to provide syllabi for review. At least 25% of the degree must be completed at UTA.

Transfer Evaluation System

UTA provides an interactive Transfer Evaluation System (TES) equivalency guide tool to help prospective transfer students assess which credits earned at current or former college-level institutions may transfer to UT Arlington. UTA will provide an official transfer credit evaluation after you apply and are admitted to the University. There may be some additional requirements specific to BSW students.
