Elevate and operationalize UTA values at all levels of the organization, enhancing engagement and fostering a sense of community across campus.

Impact

Clearly defined shared values and behaviors that are embedded into UTA’s culture provide a standard set of expectations and common language for employees. A shared set of values and behaviors adds purpose and meaning to our daily work, enhances engagement, strengthens team dynamics and provides a basis for giving and receiving recognition.

This initiative supports:

  • Tactic: Support the campus in creating an environment of engagement.
  • Tactic: Conduct regular Engagement Surveys and create operational accountability for improving employee engagement results at all levels.

Status Update - Spring 2025

The initiative is in the final stage and preparing to launch the revamped UTA values with value descriptors that will enable cross-functional initiatives to effectively operationalize and align values to drive organizational change, increase employee engagement, and foster a sense of community. The communication rollout is scheduled for early spring 2025.
