Institution-wide Recognition Program

Overview

UTA is investing in an institution-wide employee recognition program to launch in fall 2025. It will foster a culture of value-based recognition by implementing an internal system that provides a digital recognition form, participation rewards, and best practice training at all levels.

Impact

The strategy’s goal will focus on the informal acknowledgement and celebration of employee achievements, effort, and successful behaviors while living out UTA’s Core Values every day. This program aims to foster a culture of recognition and praise where every employee feels appreciated, connected, and valued for their contributions to the success of UTA.

The ultimate goal of the program is to move the University forward and focus on business results, embrace core values, and drive increased engagement.

All recognition initiatives will be evaluated and integrated with other areas of talent management in showing employees they are appreciated and their work is valued.

Status Update - Fall 2025

Initiative is concluding the research and design phases with expected leadership approval of the program Charter in January 2025. The development phase is expected to complete spring 2025 with a planned trial in the summer 2025 and launch by fall 2025.
