Open to UTA students participating in a UTA exchange, affiliated, or faculty-led study abroad program.

UTA Endowed Scholarships for Study Abroad
By submitting and application for the International Education Fee Scholarship (IEFS), eligible UTA students are also considered for the following endowed scholarships for study abroad:
Jerry Lewis and Michael S. Fuller Endowment for Study Abroad Programs
The Jerry Lewis and Michael S. Fuller Endowment for Study Abroad Programs shall be used for the benefit of students participating in Study Abroad programs through the Office of International Education. Funds shall be used to provide awards to assist undergraduate students in good academic standing at the time of application with the expense of participating in a study abroad program. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need based on a written statement as to how they will benefit from receiving the award.
Nancy L. Hadaway and Arthur D. Sikes, Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Nancy L. Hadaway and Arthur D. Sikes, Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund shall be used for the benefit of the UTA Study Abroad program in the Office of International Education. Funds shall be used to provide scholarships to students participating in a UTA Study Abroad program of liberal arts, with a preference for language studies. To qualify, recipients must be in strong academic standing and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship shall be awarded for the term the student is studying abroad. As an undergraduate student, class ranking for students to be eligible is to have at least a sophomore standing in credit hours. Graduate students are also eligible while meeting criteria described in this paragraph.
Follett Endowment for Global Engagement
The Follett Endowment for Global Engagement shall be used for the benefit of the Office of International Education under the Division of Student Affairs. Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used to support study abroad scholarships and related student support.
Betty and Roger Ruch Study Abroad Scholarship for Critical Languages and Area Studies
Open to UTA students studying critical languages and/or area studies in non-traditional locations.
Open to UTA Spanish majors.
Bart Lewis Memorial Scholarship
Open to UTA Modern Language majors.
Petsche Scholarship for Independent Study Abroad
Open to UTA Honors students conducting a project-based, independent study abroad experience.
College of Liberal Arts Bill and Tilley Wasson Award
Open to UTA College of Liberal Arts majors.
College of Business Jack and Doris Fouse Award
Open to UTA College of Business majors. Please contact the Business Undergraduate Advising Office for more information.
