To minimize submission errors, please make sure you are following these guidelines when accessing GlobalMavs:

  • Visit our International Student and Scholar Services website directly to access a specific GlobalMavs e-form link: https://www.uta.edu/student-affairs/oie/isss
  • Do NOT use a link that was sent to you via email, text message, chat service, etc. This can cause issues when you are accessing the GlobalMavs e-form. 

GlobalMavs Solutions

Follow the steps below to sign into GlobalMavs:

1. Visit GlobalMavs by navigating to globalmavs.uta.edu.



2. Click the Login button. You will be prompted to Sign in.

  • Verify you are signing in with your UTA email address (ending in @mavs.uta.edu) and password.
    • If you have a GTA assignment at UTA, you will need to log in with your WORK email (ending in @uta.edu) and password.



 

3. After a successful sign-in you will be directed to the GlobalMavs Services Home Page.

If you attempt to sign into GlobalMavs with an incorrect username or password, you will receive an error message in red text.

  • Your UTA password cannot be reset on this screen using the "Can’t access your account?" link.
    • If you attempt to follow the prompts from that link, you may receive an error message notifying you that your account is blocked.


For help resetting your UTA password, please contact the IT Service Desk.

If you are receiving the below "Access Denied" message and are a NEW student (on an initial I-20) for the upcoming semester, you will need to wait until after census date to fill out the e-form. To locate the census date for the current semester, please see the UTA Academic Calendar.

 


If you are NOT a new student and are getting the "Access Denied" message
, please try these troubleshooting tips:

Do not use a link that was sent to you via email, text message, chat service, etc.This can cause issues when you are accessing the GlobalMavs e-form.

  • Verify you are signing in with your UTA email address (ending in @mavs.uta.edu) and password.
    • If you have a GTA assignment at UTA, you will need to log in with your WORK email (ending in @uta.edu) and password.
  • Logging in from an incognito/private browser.
  • Logging in from a computer, not your phone.
  • Logging in from a different browser.
  • Clearing your cache and cookies.

 

If these recommendations do not resolve your issue, please email GlobalMavsHelp@uta.edu and include:
 
  • A screenshot of your entire screen
  • Your UTA student ID
  • The name and URL of the e-form you are trying to access.

ERROR: A system error occurred

If you visit https://globalmavs.uta.edu/ and see a system error message, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Verify you are signing in with your UTA email address (ending in @mavs.uta.edu) and password.
    • If you have a GTA assignment at UTA, you will need to log in with your WORK email (ending in @uta.edu) and password.
  • Logging in from an incognito/private browser.
  • Logging in from a computer, not your phone.
  • Logging in from a different browser.
  • Clearing your cache and cookies.
  • Do not use a link that was sent to you via email, text message, chat service, etc.

 

If the steps above do not resolve your issue, please email GlobalMavsHelp@uta.edu and include:

 

  • A screenshot of your entire screen
  • Your 10-digit UTA student ID
  • The name and URL of the e-form(s) you are trying to access.

If your GlobalMavs e-forms display an incorrect address, or, if your address appears blank:

Please add or update your Physical Presence Address in MyMav.

  • Other address types will not update correctly.
  • Your physical presence address cannot be updated via the e-form you are attempting to submit.
  • YOUR PHYSICAL PRESENCE ADDRESS IN MYMAV MUST CONFORM TO SEVIS GUIDELINES. Please refer to the sample address below.

After you submit those changes in MyMav, you should see the correct information appear on your form automatically in the next 1-2 business days. Be sure to access your form in a private or incognito window to validate that change.

 

If the steps above do not resolve your issue, please email GlobalMavsHelp@uta.edu and include:

  • A screenshot of your entire screen on the e-form page
  • Your 10-digit UTA student ID
  • Your current US physical presence address
  • Your old US physical presence address (if applicable)


If your GlobalMavs eforms display an incorrect phone number, or, your phone number is displayed as (999) 999-9999:

Please add or update your Home or Mobile phone number in MyMav.
  • Other phone types will not update correctly.
  • Your phone number cannot be updated via the e-form you are attempting to submit.
 
After you submit those changes in MyMav, you should see the correct information appear on your form automatically in the next 1-2 business days. Be sure to access your form in a private or incognito window to validate that change.
 
 

If the steps above do not resolve your issue, please email GlobalMavsHelp@uta.edu and include:

  • A screenshot of your entire screen on the e-form page
  • Your 10-digit UTA student ID
  • Your current home or mobile telephone number
  • Your old phone number (if applicable)

If you receive this error when filling out an e-form in GlobalMavs, please review each of the individual files you have attempted to attach:

  • All files should be under 500MB in size.
  • All files must be a single valid file type: PDF, JPG, GIF, PNG, or BMP.
    • Any other file types will create an error. Please make sure your files don’t have multiple extension types (for example: picture.png.pdf).
    • Check the names of your file to make sure they do not include special characters (for example: document:mypassport.pdf).
    • We recommend you convert all files to PDF for submission.
  • You CANNOT attach a shared file from OneDrive or Google Drive.

If your documents meet the requirements above and you continue to face errors, please try:

  • Logging in from an incognito/private browser.
  • Logging in from a computer, instead of your phone.
  • Logging in from a different browser.
  • Clearing your cache and cookies.

  • Individual copies of your attachments
  • The name and URL of the e-form you are trying to submit
  • Your 10-digit UTA student ID
