Graduate Research Assistantship

The Office of International Education’s technology team is hiring for a Graduate Research Assistant. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary and may be eligible for in-state tuition.

Responsibilities:
Assignment as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) will involve assisting with research for Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors reports as well as other research and reporting efforts, end-user support for the Office of International Education, device setup, desktop support, documentation, website management, and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD level student with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Work-related experience with Sitecore CMS
  • General Desktop Support experience, including troubleshooting hardware/software
  • Experience working with Windows 10, Microsoft O365, and Mac OS
  • Proficient with formulas and tools in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience applying reporting and analytics skills to business requests
  • Ability to clearly communicate and document technical problems and solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Dreamweaver and Cascade CMS
  • Proficient in creating and utilizing Excel macros
  • Proficient in data analytics reporting tools and concepts
  • Proficient in Adobe products, including Adobe Acrobat to create forms
  • Proficient in PHP, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience preparing SQL reports
