Consider a mix of studio courses (art education majors can enhance their teaching by not focusing specifically in one area)

Consider free tutoring at the IDEAS Center (2nd floor of Central Library)

Complete 21-Hour CPR

ENGAGE

Join a club or student association

Attend visiting artist gallery talks and gallery receptions

Visit Dallas-Fort Worth art museums/galleries and participate in events

EXCEL

Work toward having a GPA of 3.5+ and being on the Honor Roll

Consider joining the Honor's College

Attend the College-to-Career orientation session with Career Services and speak with them about on-campus and summer job opportunities

Become a better writer and use the Writing Center
