Looking for support on campus? The CARE Team is here to help you navigate the many services UTA offers. Here are just a few resources our team works closely with to support students’ personal, psychological, and academic wellbeing.

Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention (RVSP) Program

RVSP is committed to creating and maintaining an environment in which all members of the university community can persevere academically, personally, and professionally in an equitable and safe manner, devoid of sexual and relationship violence. The RVSP Confidential Advocate facilitates a victim-centered, social justice, and trauma-informed approach to support victims and survivors of sexual and/or relationship violence. -
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS assists students in increasing self-awareness, addressing mental health concerns, and making positive changes. Students receive six free sessions a semester and can meet with a counselor on campus or virtually. UTA students also have FREE 24/7 access to virtual care services via TimelyCare. Student Access & Resource Center (SARS)

The SAR Center provides academic accommodations to students with disabilities, along with assistive technology and resources for both students and faculty. -
Military & Veteran Services

UT Arlington supports Military-Connected Mavericks in their academic, personal, and professional pursuits, providing resources for transition, health, and career readiness. -
Health Services

UT Arlington Health Services offers medical care, lab testing, sports medicine, and more for students. Services include treating illnesses and providing lab testing like COVID-19, blood counts, and reproductive health tests. -
Title IX

Incidents of sexual or interpersonal violence can be reported anonymously. Visit the Title IX office for prevention and reporting requirements. -
UTA Crime Victim Services

The Crime Victim Services program offers assistance such as crisis counseling, medical accompaniment, and referrals for victims, without needing an open police case. -
International Student and Scholar Services

The Office of International Education provides resources and guidance to help international students succeed at UTA. -
Maverick Pantry
The Maverick Pantry ensures equitable access to food and toiletry items for students, along with support services like professional development and cap and gown rental for financially challenged graduates.
