Pocket Pantries
The purpose of the Pocket Pantry program is to provide temporary relief to UTA students in need who are experiencing food insecurity by providing immediate access to non-perishable food and toiletries before directing them to additional support resources on campus. Pocket Pantries are located across campus in 3 locations. For questions, contact eaf@uta.edu.

Emergency Bags
Emergency bags of non-perishable food and hygiene items will be available in various departments around campus. This serves as immediate relief for students in need of food while the Maverick Pantry is closed.

- UTA Police Department
- CAPS Office
- Health Services in Ransom Hall
- Dan Dipert Welcome Center
- Foster Care Office

Tarrant Area Food Bank distributes food to pantries and other nonprofits across North Texas who are ready to serve those in need. If you or your loved ones need food, use the link below to find a local food pantry. Input their address, and it will locate the nearest food pantry around you. RED Bus
Our friends at Tarrant Area Food Bank have RED Bus events all around Arlington and Fort Worth! The purpose of the R.E.D. Bus is to provide resource assistance, nutrition education and nutritious food to communities with high levels of food insecurity. They facilitate the delivery of these resources through benefits enrollment (SNAP, CHIP, TANF, Healthy Texas Woman, WIC and Medicaid) and emergency food relief.
