Deep Dive

If you’re ready to take the next step and commit seven weeks toward establishing a strong foundation for your new venture, Deep Dive might be for you. Developed in collaboration with our partners at TechFW, the Deep Dive accelerator takes founders and teams through a series of weekly workshops on topics ranging from defining and validating your problem, developing a value proposition and using customer discovery to refine it, building a business model and go-to-market plan, and evaluating your competitors. The accelerator culminates in a pitch presentation where mentors provide feedback to address gaps and blind spots.

Active and consistent participation in Deep Dive is required for teams that intend to compete in Phase II of the MavPitch program. Depending upon availability, teams not involved in MavPitch may request a spot in an upcoming cohort. To be eligible, teams must have a connection to UTA (faculty, staff, student, alumni, or developing university intellectual property under license).

Deep Dive is currently offered every summer, typically from early-June through mid-July. Please email startup@uta.edu to request more information.
