EpICMavs
Innovation & Commercialization partners with the non-profit startup incubator, TechFW. Many companies are getting started right here on UTA’s campus. EpICMavs - which stands for entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialization - personifies the trailblazing spirit of UTA’s Mavericks. EpICMavs is a FREE entrepreneurship program that offers mentoring services, a weekly workshop series lead by entrepreneurs and business owners, a startup mini-accelerator program during the summer and a youth camp for tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. EpICMavs is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the North Texas community.

Tech Nest
TechNest consists of monthly working lunches, in Fort Worth or Arlington, covering topics critical to technology entrepreneurs and quarterly networking events. Varying topics/sessions are available and is free to any UTA faculty, staff or student working toward commercializing technologies. Seating may be limited. Cowtown Angels
The Cowtown Angels program of TechFW helps young businesses get connected with local angel investors in order to create more jobs and wealth in the local community. Coaching relative to how to prepare a business pitch to obtain funding is available to all UTA faculty, staff and students seeking venture funding.
