ACC Scholarship
Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarship and Research
The Arlington Conservation Council has established an endowment for scholarship and research through the Office of Undergraduate Research. During the Spring of 2024, the Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarship and Research will be available to current students interested in conducting undergraduate research in the conservation of natural resources.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $1,000
APPLICATIONS
- Applications are due February 9, 2024
- Students must include one letter of recommendation.
Eligibility
Scholarships will be given to an undergraduate students who:
- Have attended UTA for two consecutive semesters immediately before the application deadline
- A sophomore standing and/or at UTA for at least two consecutive semesters
- Maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Are enrolled full-time in a field of study relevant with ACC's mission to "protect Arlington's natural environment through education, community service and advocacy for a sustainable future."
- Who demonstrate their career interests and how the scholarship funds would help them advance toward their goals.
Preference will be given to research activities that:
- Benefit the city of Arlington
- Are interdisciplinary and multi-organizational; and
- Leverage the resources of other entities
