ACC Scholarship
Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarship and Research
As part of its mission to protect Arlington’s natural environment through education, service, and advocacy, the Arlington Conservation Council (ACC) has established an endowment for any undergraduate or graduate student to help cover faculty-led research activities such as travel, equipment, supplies, or ancillary services.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $3,000
APPLICATIONS
- Applications are due April 11, 2025
- Students must include one letter of recommendation.
Eligibility
Scholarships will be given to an undergraduate or graduate student who:
- Has attended UTA for two consecutive semesters immediately before the application deadline
- Maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Is enrolled full-time in a field of study relevant with ACC's mission to "protect Arlington's natural environment through education, community service and advocacy for a sustainable future"
- Who demonstrates how the scholarship funds would help them advance toward their goals or career interests
Preference will be given to research activities that:
- Benefit the city of Arlington
- Are interdisciplinary and multi-organizational
- Leverage the resources of other entities
