UTA’s Career Center partners with corporations and nonprofit organizations, from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, to provide efficient workforce solutions. Employers can connect with students through job fairs, internships, and customized programs that mutually benefit companies and UTA students.

Division of Enterprise Development

The University of Texas at Arlington, Division for Enterprise Development (DED) provides customized solutions beyond traditional education, training, and consulting programs. The division offers an array of leadership and organizational development seminars, workshops and interventions targeted to our customers’ needs. These services are conducted online, at our clients’ places of business, and at off-site locations throughout the world. Whether it’s providing leadership training services, sharing insight for navigating government regulations and processes, or creating guidance plans for philanthropic and non-profit organizations, DED is uniquely poised to serve each of these needs and more.

Higher education

In 2021, UTA partnered with the city of Fort Worth to help 34 city employees earn a master’s degree in public administration. Fernando Costa, Fort Worth assistant city manager, said the city wanted to offer this program to its employees because it knew the payoff would be worthwhile. Under the program, the city pays for part of the cost of taking the MPA coursework.
