The goal of the academic advisor is to assist you in forming an academic plan consistent with your educational and career goals. The advisors offer information for the specific degree you are seeking.

Freshman Advising

Please be aware that Freshman Advising is not conducted by CAPPA Advisors. At UT Arlington, Freshmen students are advised in the University Advising Center

Transfer Advising

NOTE: For the School of Architecture incoming transfer students are required attend New Maverick Orientation and our mandatory orientation that occurs during orientation, prior to meeting with our advisor(s).

More information regarding advising will be provided when you attend the college session on orientation day.

Transferring students from a Nationally Accredited Board (NAAB) school may be able to transfer course work or/and or be placed higher level studio classes.
