Things You Need
To be prepared for your orientation session, check out the lists below for the things you should bring with you. Be sure to review the appropriate list for which type of orientation you are attending.
Things To Bring to Face-to-Face Orientation
We look forward to seeing you on campus soon! Be sure to bring the following items to your face-to-face orientation:
- Pre-Orientation E-mail, which will be sent three days before your orientation session (printed or electronic version)
- Government Issued Picture ID
- Pen & Paper
- Laptop or tablet for course registration
- Jacket or Sweatshirt as the buildings can be quite cold
- If you plan to audition for marching band, bring your instrument with you on day 2 of orientation
If you were unable to meet with an advisor prior to your orientation session, please bring the following:
- Final high school transcripts (if not already been sent)
- AP, IB, and other test scores
- Dual credit transcripts from the college(s) where the courses were taken
- Laptop or tablet for course registration (we have some on campus if you don't have one to bring with you)
For the Overnight Experience, please bring the following items.*
- Sleeping bag or Twin XL sheets and a blanket
- Pillows
- Personal toiletries including hand soap for the bathroom sink
- Towels
- Change of clothes
- Shower shoes (if desired)
*The overnight experience is available at freshman 2-day programs in May, June, July, and the first week of August.
