COACHE at UTA

Inspired by its commitment to improving the campus workplace for faculty, UTA’s Faculty Senate is partnering with the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) to run a systematic survey of UTA faculty members during the spring 2025 term. When the COACHE survey was conducted in spring 2021, its results drove a multi-year effort to develop initiatives for improving the lives of faculty members at UTA. The survey’s steering committee made 45 actionable recommendations, contributing to meaningful changes that include an increase in faculty salaries and greatly improved support for graduate teaching and research assistants.
