Pharmacy
Pharmacy
UTA Health Services has a fully licensed on-site pharmacy. Two registered pharmacists and one pharmacy technician are available to fill your prescription and answer any questions you may have. Pharmacists will provide prescription counseling for any new medications you fill, including a review of how and when to take the medication, how long to take and what to do if side effects occur.
Prescriptions and Other Health Care Supplies
Prescriptions are offered at reasonable prices and less expensive, generic prescriptions are utilized whenever possible. You are not required to fill prescriptions in our pharmacy. Prescriptions written by our health care providers may be filled at any outside pharmacy. You also have the option of bringing outside prescriptions to have filled in our pharmacy.
We also stock a variety of non-prescription and over-the-counter products such as pain relievers, cough and cold remedies, vitamins, antacids, laxatives, topical skin care medications, period products, specialty condoms, bandages and wound-care supplies. Plan B is also available, without a prescription, in the pharmacy.
Free condoms and lubricant are available at the health center entrance alongside the free period product stand.
Please call 817-272-2770 to inquire about the price of prescriptions, medications, and other health care products.
