Professional Licensure Disclosure

The University of Texas Arlington is an approved institution participating in The National Council for State Authorization and Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). If you plan to pursue licensure or certification in a state other than Texas, please review your college State Authorization webpage.

 

 

Distance education is an integral part of The University of Texas at Arlington’s program offerings with many students participating in federal financial aid programs. Amendments to the Higher Education Act of 1965 include changes in regulation for State Authorization that impact distance education providers. In compliance with the U.S. Department of Education Regulations in 34 CFR 600.2 and 34 CFR 600.9(c) of the 2019 Final Federal Regulations for State Authorization, The University of Texas System on behalf of The University of Texas Arlington has made a “good faith effort” in pursuing state authorization from all 54 states and territories within the U.S. and participates in NC-SARA.
