About Non-Academic Courses
Non-academic courses may be created in Canvas for content that is not course-specific. You may add content, conduct discussions, and administer quizzes just as you would in a for-credit course. You also have the option of permitting participants to self-enroll in the non-academic course.
To request creation of a non-academic course shell, please log in to Service Now Self Service and submit a Canvas Organization and Course Request form.
