Uplift Community Development was created in 2005 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Dr. Maurice Pugh with the mission to uplift communities one family at a time. This mission is accomplished through children and youth advocacy, community enrichment events, and soon to be adult education and employment opportunities.
