The Classics Club
The UTA Classics Club was founded "to foster the study of classical antiquity, to raise awareness of the importance of Classical Studies, and to facilitate academic and social contacts among kindred spirits". The club supports many classical endeavors:
- The Homerathon, an all-day reading of Homer's Odyssey
- Adventures in Antiquity, a classical symposium
- Eta Sigma Phi, a national Greek and Latin honor society
- Perseus, an interactive database on ancient Greece
