Tutors provide academic support services for a variety of classes. Tutoring helps students develop and grow strong study habits by working one-on-one with a Tutor.
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders provide academic support services for a variety of classes. SI is a structured group study session to help students understand class concepts and acquire successful learning strategies.
These successful students will lead a student team of 8 peers to help them master content and study skills for some of our historically more difficult courses. They will facilitate discussions as well as provide resources to address and student needs or questions.
TRIO Student Support Services is looking to recruit enthusiastic UTA students to be Peer Educators for all majors. Peer Educators have the opportunity to take a role in increasing student success rates among UTA’s first-generation students, low socio-economic status students, and students with a registered disability.
Students in this role provide critical support to the administrative functions of the division. Duties range from front desk customer service to back office administrative work.
The Division of Student Success employs Videographers/Graphic Designers who are full of creative ideas and eager to contribute to telling the stories of UTA's students' success. Our students work in the area of media, marketing and communications within the division to assist the Director of Operations in the administration of multimedia communications for the Division.
Peer Academic Coaches (PACs) help students adjust to life at UTA. As a PAC, you will support the academic transition of students to UTA through the facilitation of group peer coaching sessions.
The Office of Testing Services employs eligible graduate students in the testing labs to administer and proctor both physical and virtual examinations for UTA students and community members.
