ACADEMIC DEADLINES AND ELIGIBILITY FOR GRADUATION

Students are eligible to participate in their commencement ceremony if they apply for graduation by the deadline and if they have completed all of the requirements for their degree program or will have completed all of those requirements by the end of the graduation term. After Spring 2024 commencement, graduates may only defer their participation in commencement for one semester. Spring 2024 graduates may only defer to Fall 2024 commencement, and any UTA alumni that graduated prior to Spring 2024 will be ineligible to participate in future commencement ceremonies.

Fall 2024 graduates are asked to complete the First Destination Survey between November 8th and May 8th. By sharing your next step, UTA can better understand the market and provide valuable information to our colleges and the Career Development Center.
