POLICE OFFICER / POLICE CADET
- $58,000 - Starting (cadet)
- $60,000 - After successful completion of TCOLE basic peace officer course
- $62,000 - After successful completion of field training
- Lateral officers (prior experience) may be compensated based upon prior experience
- Eligible employees may receive tuition assistance for job related degree programs and classes, for more information click here.
- Comprehensive insurance is available to include: Medical (covered at 100% for employee on first day of employment) Vision, Dental and Life.
- Paid shift differential
- Uniforms and necessary equipment provided, included duty weapon
- Paid holidays (approximately 14 days per year)
- Paid vacations (12 - 30+ days per year)
- Paid sick time (12 days per year)
- Teacher’s Retirement System (TRS) of Texas
PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER
- $40,500
- Candidates may be compensated based upon experience
