Here's a video about Infield Citrus Fruit Detection and Classification by Jordan James, an intern from UTA CSE department:

Detecting and classifying fruit in orchards is a crucial task for agricultural automation. It can be used to observe symptoms of disease and provide insightful estimates for time to harvest. Fruit detection and classification also enables the possibility of automated harvesting, which has the potential to eliminate one of the most labor-intensive processes for farmers. In this video, we demonstrate collaborative work with USDA-ARS on detecting and classifying citrus fruit.
