The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice is proud to offer numerous scholarships to better support our undergraduate and graduate students. Additional preference will be given if the student is active in community service programs; and/or active in departmental, university or other student organizations related to the discipline of criminology/criminal justice at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Gary D. Harl Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship began in the 1970s and is awarded only for fall or spring semesters. With satisfactory progress toward a degree, as determined by the Program’s Scholarship Selection Committee, recipients may continue to receive this scholarship assistance in subsequent years. The Program’s Scholarship Committee will reevaluate and award the scholarship each year.
