Pre-Professional GPA Calculations

To be eligible to enroll in professional-level engineering courses, as defined in the University Catalog, a student must:

• meet the minimum GPA requirements; and
• not be on COE probation; and
• be in compliance with the COE 3-attempt rule

The documents below state what courses are used to calculate the three (3) COE GPAs. Requirements depend on a student's major and catalog year. Be sure to reference the correct document. If needed, consult with an advisor for assistance.
