Changing Lives

The more intense the struggle to achieve, the more emotional the reaction to the accomplishment. Perhaps that’s why you hear so much cheering at graduation exercises. For many students, the journey involves stops and starts, roadblocks and hairpin turns.
Family obligations or the need to work full time often obscure the path. Sometimes crises strike: the death of a loved one, serious illness, financial ruin. UTA has been called a place of transformation, where you can overcome obstacles and change your life. Meet five graduates who’ve done just that.
