About: Florencio Gobellan, a Junior from Garland TX, majoring in Psychology, was inspired to run for Mr. UTA to represent the pride and traditions of the university. To him, the title signifies leadership and building a stronger sense of community on campus. One of his favorite experiences at UTA has been organizing the Founder's Day event, which saw a significant increase in attendance, bringing students together to celebrate UTA’s legacy. As Mr. UTA, Florencio plans to continue elevating campus spirit through initiatives like the Maverick Memorial event and mentoring future leaders.
