event planning support

Planning a successful event takes time, teamwork, and preparation. Events can range from brotherhood and sisterhood activities, chapter retreats, exhibits, and social events. We believe that it is important for organization to plan and manage safe and effective events. With a shared responsibility, office staff assist organizations in completing registration paperwork, reviewing risk management and mitigation strategies, and provide organizations with resources to effectively execute their event management practices.

hazing prevention week

Each year, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life partners with the Office of Student Conduct, UTA, Athletics, Office of Student Organizations and other campus partners to develop education and outreach centered around hazing. This weeklong collaboration serves as outward facing education to not only provide education for groups participating but the greater campus as well.
