Mission

The MavWell initiative supports a campus-wide environment and culture of wellbeing that promotes the value of student health and wellness within learning, activities, and access to campus facilities, programs, and information/ Programs and events are based on a model of nice dimensions of wellness, adapted from SAMHSA. Our commitment is to provide inclusive wellness programs, services, policies, resources and tools to encourage and enable students to take charge of their health and wellbeing.

Adaptive Recreation Brings disability recreation programs to students with disabilities
Speak with a nutritionist Our registered dietician helps students navigate what to eat.
Health Services We strive to provide eligible UTA students with quality, accessible, comprehensive, and cost-effective health care.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) CAPS assists students in increasing self-awareness, addressing mental health and emotional concerns, and making positive changes in their lives.

Academic Support We have tutors for every discipline, advisers to help with class registration, and clinics for students to take sample tests. These services are all free so we can help you beat academic obstacles.
Center for Service Learning

Service learning integrates community service into academic coursework, whereby students engage in classroom activities and reflection related to the performance of local service projects within the course.

Apartment and Residence Life The Apartment and Residence Life staff works hard to make you feel at home. The programs and services we provide will assist you in making a smooth transition into the UT Arlington community. We work closely with Housing Operations staff to provide a safe and supportive environment for all of our residents.
Student Access and Resource Center We work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to create an inclusive educational environment.
RVSP Program The RVSP believes, supports, and advocates for victims and survivors of sexual violence. All students who seek support will be treated with dignity and respect, and empowered to make reporting decisions that feel best to them.

Apartment and Residence Life There are more than 6,000 students living on campus. We are one of the largest employers of students on campus with over 110 student employees. The staff serves as a resource to help you navigate your way around campus.
