Staff Engagement Committee
The Staff Engagement Committee fosters a positive work environment and sense of community among Student Affairs staff. The committee members host programs and events to welcome new staff, build and maintain staff relationships, and recognize the work being done in Student Affairs. The committee hosts activities such as breakfasts or lunches on and off campus, happy hours and staff socials, services opportunities, and friendly competitions. The committee also plans the new divisional staff welcome breakfasts and SA annual awards program.

Staff Development Committee
The Staff Development Committee seeks to foster within the Division of Student Affairs a community of professionals committed to lifelong learning and the shared ownership of organizational excellence. The team's mission is to enhance the competencies of professionals in Student Affairs by facilitating purposeful, innovative, and engaging activities that educate, train, and develop. The committee coordinates divisional retreats, monthly divisional meetings, employee engagement incentive programs, and other professional development topics throughout the year. This committee may also work with the Staff Engagement Committee to provide divisional activities.

Health & Wellbeing Committee
The Health and Wellbeing Committee’s mission is to foster the health and wellbeing of students and staff, integrating them as a central principle across the Division of Student Affairs’ programs and policies. The committee fosters awareness, coordinates activities, reviews and develops policies and processes, and generally encourages attention to wellbeing across all the departments and functions that comprise Student Affairs. Their goal is that health and wellbeing for all become a meaningful factor in the programs and services we offer. Their commitment also strives to contribute to the overall University effort to create an environment and culture of wellbeing across the institution.

Retention & Success Committee
The Retention & Success Committee’s purpose is to ensure that the programs and policies across the Division of Student Affairs promote student belonging and success, leading to their retention at the University and persistence through completion of their desired degree. The committee’s members seek to understand the challenges, both on and off campus, that UTA students experience which hinder their success, and identify the obstacles, barriers, and other issues which create those challenges. They strive to mitigate the impact of those problems through enhanced programs, policies, and processes within the Division of Student Affairs, and where feasible, across the University.
