Maverick Momentum, Staff Mentorship Program Kicks-Off!!
The 2025 Maverick Momentum mentorship program, a partnership between the Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) and Talent, Culture, and Engagement (TCE) Engagement Department, successfully launched in January with 18 enthusiastic mentee and mentor parings both benefiting from opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The 6-month program is designed with self-exploratory 1:1 mentoring sessions guided by a monthly roadmap of resources and skill development topics to reach individualized goals:

- Communication Styles
- Feedback and Growth
- Autonomous Engagement
- Professional development
- Problem Solving
- Personal Branding
Veronique Jones, Leadership Development Consultant facilitated a mentee DiSC Styles workshop, which has already proven to be a personal growth highlight for gaining self-awareness of their own communication style and how to adapt to others for increased personal effectiveness.
