Space Management Group

Space Management Group (SMG) within Facilities Management serves as a professional resource regarding space assets on and off campus. SMG provides effective stewardship of the space inventory database (CASIM), manages space requests, facilitates annual space surveys, conducts space audits, supports campus moves, and provides accurate and timely space inventory and utilization reports to inform decision-makers about short and long-term space needs.

SMG relies on the accuracy of departmental self-reported data to track space use and occupancy through CASIM. CASIM's multiple features are accessible based on permission levels granted by the CASIM Administrator. Shown below are multiple resources to help you gain access and navigate the CASIM system.
