Accounting Society
Accounting Society is a professional student organization within the College of Business that provides students with opportunities to meet recruiters and professionals in the field of accounting. Students build relationships with UTA accounting alumni and other professionals and firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
American Marketing Association - AMA
AMA is a professional association for individuals and organizations leading the practice, teaching and development of marketing knowledge worldwide. The UTA collegiate chapter of AMA offers career resources, professional and leadership development, and networking opportunities.
Association of Information Technology Professionals - AITP
AITP offers opportunities for information technology (IT) leadership and education through partnerships with industry, government and academia. AITP provides quality IT-related education, information on relevant IT issues, and forums for networking with experienced peers and other IT professionals.
Association of Latino Professionals for America - ALPFA
(Business-students-only chapter) ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America) provides many programs and benefits to aspiring Latino students interested in accounting, finance or related career professions. All UTA Students are invited. Benefits of student membership include access to scholarship opportunities, skills development workshops, networking with key hiring professionals and sponsors, and discounts on various ALPFA events.
Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals (includes accounting, finance and information systems fields). The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field.
Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honor society recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in collegiate business and management programs accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business.
Cyber Security Club
The Cyber Security Club, established in 2011, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization specializing in helping students learn more about the cybersecurity and information security fields.
Data Science Club
The purpose of Data Science Club is to foster the interest in and be the encouragement of initiative and creativity in the fields of Data Science.
Delta Sigma Pi
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity that encourages scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice. Students experience a closer affiliation with the commercial world and work to further a higher standard of commercial ethics, culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
Entrepreneurship Club
The Entrepreneurship Club is a student community focused on entrepreneurship. This is for anyone – undergrads, grads, doctoral students, and even faculty – who’s got a spark for starting something new.
Finance Society
The Finance Society is a professional organization designed to give UTA students a more effective education. The organization strives to unify students from all majors and facilitate interaction with the faculty, the business community and the university as a whole.
Goolsby Scholars

The Goolsby Scholars organization acts as a liaison for the Goolsby Leadership Academy to connect with the alumni of the Goolsby Leadership Academy. Also, the Goolsby Scholars Organization works to enhance the experience Goolsby Scholars gain in the Academy by enabling students to create initiatives and spearhead efforts to further the Goolsby message.
Maverick Sales Club
The Maverick Sales Club seeks to offer students the opportunity to grow a foundation of knowledge in professional selling techniques and to learn from and network with leading professionals in the field of professional selling.

Muslim Professional Association is a space for Muslims to grow and develop their professional skills and even gain knowledge with opportunities to meet recruiters and professionals in the Professional field. National Association for Business Economics - NABE
NABE is the premier professional association for business economists and others who use economics in the workplace. The UTA student chapter connects students with organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for community relationships, internships and possible jobs, and hosts professional and networking events for students.
Omicron Delta Epsilon - ODE
Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the world's largest academic honor societies. The objectives of Omicron Delta Epsilon are recognition of scholastic attainment and the honoring of outstanding achievements in economics.
Society for Human Resource Management - SHRM
SHRM is the world’s largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management. The student chapter at UTA conducts activities that allow students to learn more about HR management while building relationships with local professionals and other students.
Student Society of Real Estate (SSRE)
SSRE is a student organization that seeks to develop an enhanced understanding of the commercial real estate profession and helps you build a network for the future. We want to make every aspect of real estate more transparent and accessible for students by providing information, guidance, competitions, events and career opportunities related to the real estate industry.
Women in Business
Our mission is to change the perceived limitations and misconceptions of women in the business field. We strive to inspire and empower members (regardless of gender) to advance their careers into business leadership roles through networking, personal and professional enrichment, and educational activities. Our objective is to provide an environment where members can engage with peers and business professionals to acquire the necessary resources to reach their full potential as confident and capable business professionals.
College of Business
