The College of Business is committed to transforming the lives of our students through knowledge and the scholarships provided through the Dean’s Leadership Circle will provide our students substantial assistance by defraying some of the tuition.
Value of Membership
Leadership Opportunities - As advocates for the College, DLC participants guide the future of the College by volunteering on the DLC Executive Leadership Board, assisting in recruiting future students, and by supporting current students. DLC members serve as ambassadors for the College, contributing to advancement, mentorship and alumni engagement opportunities.
Professional Networking - The DLC provides members access to an elite network of business leaders. Private networking events offer members opportunities to build strategic professional relationships.
Business-Focused Events - DLC members receive invitations to business talks and industry roundtables.
Mentorship and Guidance - DLC members are encouraged to share their professional insight as mentors and advisors to current students.
DLC Goals
The Dean’s Leadership Circle was created to fund current use scholarships for high performing incoming students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels with one hundred percent (100%) of all donations going toward scholarships. Any costs associated with the Dean’s Leadership Circle will be absorbed by the Dean’s office.
We have set an ambitious goal to raise $1.0 million annually for current use scholarships through the Dean’s Leadership Circle. To achieve this goal, we’ll need the support and leadership of Mavericks like yourself.
DLC Scholar's Success
In 2019, the College of Business launched the Dean’s Leadership Circle (DLC) to fund scholarships for deserving students. In our first year, we’ve seen great success. Thanks to the support of donors like you, we’re able to launch the next generation of Maverick business leaders.

These scholarships will also provide the College of Business critical resources to compete for the best and brightest students.
As a member of the Dean’s Leadership Circle, you will also have the opportunity to play an instrumental role in propelling the College of Business forward. As one of the premier leadership groups at the College of Business, the Dean’s Leadership Circle will offer members exclusive networking and professional development opportunities. Members also fill roles as College of Business ambassadors, contributing to advancement, development, mentorship and alumni engagement opportunities.
