Seventy-six teams participated in the annual Oozeball mud volleyball tournament in September. The event raised more than $6,000 for student scholarships, the most in its 17-year history.

The UT Arlington Jazz Orchestra performed in September at a concert celebrating the late Dan Burkholder and his legacy gifts to the Music Department. Burkholder founded the Jazz Orchestra.
