2024 Fall Poster Session
This year's Fall Poster Session showcased two unique presentation formats, highlighting the creativity and effort of Political Science students. Wall presentations, designed by Dr. Mark Hand's students, featured large, poster-size prints. Meanwhile, Dr. Marc Hendershot's students created digital laptop presentations, some displayed atop decorative boxes.
The session buzzed with energy, as attendees enjoyed pizza and refreshments while they moved from one presentation to the next. Conversations between presenters and observers not only brought the topics to life but also provided students with valuable feedback meant to further enhance their research and presentation skills.
Dr. Hand commended the students for their dedication, ingenuity, and hard work noting the event’s role in fostering both research and visual communication proficiency. While some posters included fabricated data for illustrative purposes, this did not detract from the overall quality and impact of the presentations.
The event offered an inspiring glimpse into the innovative and thoughtful work of participating students. Special thanks to those who helped make the event a success, with particular acknowledgment of graduate student Corrina Sullivan for her coordination efforts.
