Drone facility

WFAA reported on the Maverick Autonomous Vehicle Research Center, which will be located at the UT Arlington Research Institute in Fort Worth. The state-of-the-art outdoor netted drone facility is set to be completed in January 2025. Industrial Equipment News also covered the story.

Drone delivery

This week UTA is partnering with the city of Arlington to deliver essential food items via drones to individuals who are mobility challenged, historically disadvantaged, or lack a reliable means of transportation. KLIF and WBAP covered the story.
