The Lady Mavs entered the WAC Tournament as the fifth-seeded team and lost to the top-seeded team, the California Baptist Lancers, in the semifinals. It was the team’s first appearance ever in the WAC semifinals.


Avery Brittingham represented the Lady Mavs on the 2024 WAC All-Tournament team. She was the only selection who wasn’t from Stephen F. Austin or California Baptist.


The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association named Assistant Coach KaeLynn Boyd to its 30 Under 30 list for the 2023-24 season.


Following standout performances in helping UT Arlington to the championship game, both Phillip Russell and Shemar Wilson garnered selections to the 2024 University Credit Union WAC Men’s Basketball All-Tournament Team.


KT Turner was named a finalist for two national Coach of the Year honors: the Joe B. Hall Award and the Ben Jobe Award.


Jeremy Pope, men’s basketball assistant coach, was named to Silver Waves Media’s 2024 100 Rising Stars list recognizing the most impactful assistant coaches in the nation.
