Mavericks Among Fort Worth’s Most Influential
You do not have to look far to see University of Texas at Arlington alumni making a difference in their chosen fields, including some right here in our own backyard.
Fort Worth Inc. has released The 400, its list of the most influential people in the city, and UTA made its presence known. Twenty-eight Mavericks—including UTA President Jennifer Cowley—were named to this year’s list, representing fields such as government, transportation, real estate, professional services, economic development, education, industry, nonprofit and banking.
“I am so proud to help represent the more than 270,000 UTA alumni who have gone on to amazing success after earning their degrees,” Cowley said. “We know that UTA makes a difference in this community and across our state. Our Maverick family has a major impact right here in Fort Worth.”
