U T A basketball player

To foster an environment of team building and engagement, Jon Fagg, director of athletics, and Jewel Washington, vice president of Talent, Culture, and Engagement, invite you to join your colleagues at a men’s basketball game Thursday, Feb. 13, at College Park Center.

Your Mavericks will take on the California Baptist Lancers starting at 4 p.m., with doors opening at 3 p.m. Each faculty and staff member will receive up to four free tickets to the game in sections 104-107. Additional sections will be made available if necessary.

Your tickets will be provided digitally through the AXS app. Instructions on how to download the app and tickets will be emailed to you after you claim your tickets at the link below. Please be sure you utilize your UTA email address when selecting tickets.

Get your tickets. You must use promo code UTAFS25.

If you are interested in joining us for the game, please work with your department manager to ensure minimum disruptions to normal operations. It is important to follow these guidelines:

  • Communicate with your manager to ensure necessary arrangements are made and approval is given. We understand not everyone may be able to attend. Please know we have plans to host other events like this in the future.
  • While attending the game, please represent UTA with professionalism and pride and treat others with respect.
  • Get to know your fellow employees! This is a great opportunity for building connections not only with your team, but also with employees across campus.
  • If your manager approves your request to attend, there is no need to submit the time in TCP. This is considered a team-building event sponsored by UTA and can begin as early as 3 p.m. to allow time for travel. You will not be required to stay outside of your normal working hours, but we encourage you to stick around and cheer on the Mavericks.

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that UTA’s business operations continue to run smoothly. This is a wonderful opportunity to support your basketball team and engage with others across campus. We look forward to seeing you at College Park Center.

Go Mavericks!
