UTA Employee Dependent Scholarship
To recognize the contributions of our employees, UTA is launching a new dependent scholarship program. Beginning Spring 2025, the UTA Employee Dependent Scholarship (UTA-EDS) will support eligible employees' dependents in pursuing an undergraduate degree at UTA.
The scholarship provides eligible employees' dependents with a $500 per semester scholarship to support their personal and professional growth and development. There is no limit to the number of dependent children who may qualify, but the scholarship can only be used at UTA.
An employee’s dependent becomes eligible for the UTA-EDS once the employee has completed one year of continuous regular full-time employment with the University prior to:
- August 1 for the Fall semester
- January 1 for the Spring semester
- May 1 for the Summer semester
