Annual Staff Performance Evaluations Now Available

Annual performance evaluations for staff employees are now available in UTShare. The evaluation period covers Jan. 2024 through Dec. 2024. Employee self-evaluations are due Tuesday, March 11, and manager evaluations are due Friday, April 11.

Faculty and student employees are not included. Annual performance evaluations will also not be created for employees who were hired after May 31, 2024, and have received a six-month evaluation.

Employees can access the self-evaluation from the Performance tile under Employee Self Service, and managers can access employee performance evaluations from their Team Performance tile under Manager Self Service in UTShare. If you need assistance accessing these materials, this short video may help.

We value the contributions of our staff and are committed to providing continuing opportunities for success and career growth. Key elements of performance management include goal setting and performance planning, ongoing two-way communication and coaching during the year, and an annual performance evaluation. An annual evaluation meeting provides managers and employees the opportunity to have a substantive conversation about past contributions and to set goals for the coming year.
