Registration Deadline

Registration is open all year round. Students are allowed to register as early as one year before their graduation date.

Pick-Up Dates and Times will be sent via email after you register and complete all requirements.

ELIGIBILITY

Students must the following eligibility criteria:

• Must be a Graduate Student
• Must be graduating in Spring, Summer or Fall

COMPLETE 6 ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

Complete 6 engagement activities within on year before your graduation date.

1. Meet TWICE (2) with EDGE Center Career Advisor

2. Attend TWO (2) EDGE Center sponsored career events
   • LATINAS MAKE A DIFFERENCE SUMMIT - EDGE Sponsorship
     • September 20th & 21st - In-person
   • LIFE AFTER GRAD SCHOOL: A GUIDE TO FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT
     • September 26th - Virtual
   • ¡AVANZA! ALUMNI PANEL
     • October 26th - In-person/Hybrid
   • LIFE AFTER GRAD SCHOOL PRESENTATION
     • November 14th - Virtual
   • Hispanic Women's Network of Texas: Empowered Women Power Economies
     • In-person/Hybrid
3. Complete TWO (2) pre-approved LinkedIn Learnings:
   • Negotiating Your Job Offer - Christine DiDonato (2016)
   • How to Leverage References, Recommendations, and Referrals to Advance Your Career - Emilie Aries (2020)

How to Track Requirement and Completion:

1. LinkedIn Learnings (2): Upload the Certificate of Completion pdf. for each (2 total) LinkedIn Learning completed to the registration form.
2. EDGE Career Advising (2): Each completed meeting will be manually recorded by the Career Development Specialist at the end of your appointments.
3. EDGE Center Career Event (2): Check-in links and QR codes will be available at each event. Make sure to check-in at each event to record your attendance.

LinkedIn Learnings are free for all UTA graduate students with your UTA student log-in information.
