Greek Life Community Center

Building a Sense of Community: New Home for Fraternities and Sororities to Gather

UTA fraternity and sorority members will soon enjoy an inviting, state-of-the-art place to call home.

Construction on an 8,900-square-foot Greek Life Community Center has begun near the intersection of Greek Row and Davis Drive. The center will fill a pressing need for space and foster a strong sense of community among UTA's 28 fraternities and sororities and their more than 650 members. The facility will provide space for meetings and social events as well as a broad range of indoor and outdoor programming. The center will be available for use by all UTA fraternities and sororities — even the six with their own houses — while also providing much-needed space to welcome alumni to campus for events and programs.

Student Impact

In 2023, UTA fraternity and sorority members raised more than $99,000 for nonprofit organizations, logged over 13,000 community service hours, and graduated at a 16% higher rate than other UTA students. Support for the new Greek Life Community Center will help create a spacious, welcoming, and functional environment for fraternity and sorority members to significantly expand their positive impact at UTA and beyond.
